Welcome to the Web Site of the Sojourner Truth Memorial Statue Project in Florence, Massachusetts!

Sojourner Truth, a former slave who lived in Florence, MA in the Mid-1800's, was a nationally known advocate for equality and justice. A group of citizens from many walks of life, have come together to create a memorial statue and site honoring her life and work.
