The American Red Cross is a volunteer led organization that provides relief to victims of disasters and helps people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.

The Paradise City Forum is a proactive, non-partisan coalition working to improve the quality of life in Northampton, Massachusetts. The Forum is open to all concerned citizens and community groups. The International Language Institute is a private nonprofit language school located in Northampton that offers a small international intensive English program as well as part-time English for immigrants and refugees. They also teach other world languages such as Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. The English classes for immigrants and refugees are free.
